Looking to get some fresh air, to aquire a green thumb perhaps, handy with tools, have a passion to teach, are skilled in outreach/marketing skills, have any extra resources lying around or interested in making some new friends and experiences? Wish List
Have any extra landscaping cloth/tarps, livestock tanks, perennial plants, chainsaws, mill saws aquaponic/hydroponic set up,manure, bee keeper equipment, solar panels, irrigation tubing, power tools, wood, STEM curriculum, etc...? We here at Tiny Acres would graciously accept any donations or leads into future grants! Green Outdoor Education
Pollination, photosynthesis, germination and more are just a few of the things we will explore at the farm throughout the season. This year we have designated 5 new galvanized steel raised beds to Hamtramck elementary students to cultivate their own skills. We plan on getting some new helpful pollinators this year and will expand our outdoor classroom to include a portable on the go observation bee hive.
Thank You for helping us raise $1800 for our outdoor educational classroom series and a install our secure wooden fence!
